Production Notes:
Shot entirely in one take, without cutting. Song was played back at two and a half times the speed in reverse to achieve a backwards, slow motion effect. Christian Stone had not practiced this song in reverse and had only heard it for the first time at twice the speed in reverse the morning of the shoot. A small note for trivia is that Christian Stone is also the guitarist for the band, "Puddle of Mudd", but writes and records his own music which can be found at http://www.myspace.com/christiandavidstone. The boy in the video is Christian's son, Gabe.

- was told that a static lullaby fired their current video director in order to have me do their video
- will be directing it hopefully next week, my manager is working out those details
- I've been in and out of meetings all week about various projects coming up.
- ate at two really good thai places this week
- erica, atlantic's video manager, took me to TOI THAI in hollywood
- seriously the best tofu phad thai (no egg) I've ever had
- had a meeting at another place called THE VEGAN JOINT and it was good.
- the VP of video production for atlantic came to town from ny and insisted on meeting me... she loved the video for this providence.
- she had me come on set for the KeKe Palmer video they were shooting, which was fun.
- going to warner music group tomorrow to deliver the this providence video in person.
- too much to remember and I'm tired.

I've turned off my phone for the weekend.
I do not wish to be distrubed.
I'm VERY busy.

Ryan called me at 8:30am - sharp.

- I'm getting a new phone and phone number tomorrow.

- Woke up feeling great.
- Jeremy drank too much the night prior, and threw up twice.
- Disaronno on the rocks is my new favorite drink. Smooth cherries.
- Went to Burbank to the Atlantic Records office to pick up my pay check and show the This Providence video around a bit - They LOVED it.
- She sent it to everyone at Atlantic's main office in NYC, too.
- Next week Atlantic's video commissioner is taking me out to dinner.
- GOT MY FIRST COMMISSIONED MAJOR LABEL VIDEO CHECK FOR DIRECTING!
- It has Warner Music Group on the top left.
- Had to change my pants.
- Went out to Thai with Jeremy.
- The waitress rolled her eyes a lot.
- So I stabbed her.
- Just kidding.
- Got lost and went to Simi Valley by accident, then eventually made it back to LA.
- Dropped off my things at my new house in west hollywood.
- I'm living with the guitarist from Puddle of Mudd.
- Yes, that is extremely random, I know.
- He actually has a kick ass side project.
- Once done dropping things off, walked up to the Knitting Factory to meet up Ryan Trask, JJ, and Natalie for a show.
- China Room, was the band we were there to see.
- Ryan and I layed on the floor in the middle of the venue for most of their set.
- After the show JJ drove Jeremy back to his car and myself back to the house.
- Ryan says he will call me at 8:30am sharp.
- That makes him my alarm clock for tomorrow.
- Listened to a few songs in the studio that's in our backyard shed.
- Got invited to hang out with Nine Inch Nails tonight for the birthday of Aaron North, the lead guitarist.
- Apparently he lives right next door, literally 4 steps away, from the door to my room.

- Going now to take a new self portrait, since I haven't since being in LA.

Just the day in general, even if it were not my birthday would be something to withold and remember. A most amazing morning in progress right now.

I just re-downloaded all the original Brand New albums, including all their demos and acoustics.
My ears feel at home again.

Life is good today.
I'm working on Design Pirates stuff, and finally getting caught up on old myspace messages.

For those that don't know or haven't been in the loop in the last 64 weeks I moved from Seattle to Nashville to Florida. I am set up at home right now in Orlando just working on the go as I travel too much to sign a lease and abide by it. However, I plan to move out to LA and set up an artist's live/work space in a warehouse conversion loft somewhere in the artists district of LA, or west hollywood/studio city area. I will be moving out there by August, I think. That's my goal.

I'm going out to LA at the end of June to do a couple videos and attend the CineGearExpo. There's about 100 bands I can start working with out there, that are all so very talented.

So, that is what is up with me lately.

I was talking with a friend of mine today and a subject came up about rebuilding what is broken.
I rememberd how much I have always loved the expression that your life and love are like clothes hangars.
Once you bend them, no matter how hard you try you will never get them perfectly straight again.

It has been 64 long weeks since I've posted to livejournal, but here I am again.
I sure have a lot to write about.

Directed and shot a music video for my florida friends, We Are Medicine for the song "Gentilemen Don't Start Fights..."

There's probably nothing in the entire universe that can cause me to loose respect for someone, get pissed off, or have any sort of negative feelings towards someone... unless they lie to me. Especially about things that are important to me.

Especially when it's a friend.

I got home from warped tour a few days ago. I came home from LaGuardia in NYC on the day of the last Warped Tour date. I would have gone to the last date but warped tour exhausted me. I was just glad to be home, once I got here. Toilets with plumbing, and a stationary bed.

Things were amazing on the WT05. As for now, I've got a ton of pictures to post... 1300 photos from Warped Tour in total. I won't post all of those, because it'd take forever. Just some cool ones.

I took a lot of new photos with Kelly. They're adorable, I think.

I also just took one today, and I did it in the style of the new My Chemical Romance video for The Ghost of You that won't be out till late September. Gerard and I actually had quite a few long conversations about that video and it's making and stuff. NATURALLY we'd talk about music videos... like all the time. ha.

Rudimental intentions maybe, but I've been thinking a lot lately.
Certain topics, certain situations. Certain people.
I know that the way I assumed I felt for someone isn't how I actually feel for them.
Not a problem at all, and I feel as though the only reason it was a topic in the air is because my mind allowed itself to toss it.
What caught me off guard (A welcome surprise) is that my relationship to another person has developed more, instead.
Realizing my head playing tricks, it's good to relax.
Not as a result of said shift in the wind, but on it's own accord.
Pleasant.
Nothing serious, or even romantic.
In fact there seems to be no romantic interest in me anyway.
A newly developed friendship, and a swiftly undeveloped interest.
Two different people.

Not that I mind things without, but it would be nice to have a meaningful kiss again.
